Are you looking for a confident and convincing specialist in private or public sector employment law? A seasoned professional and highly skilled, experienced practitioner? Then you’ve come to the right place!
Dr. Heinz Heller holds a doctorate in employment law. Those who have completed a doctorate are able to structure information and distinguish between what is essential and what is not. And Dr. Heller was one of the first Specialist Lawyers SBA Employment Law in Switzerland (certified in 2008). In addition, Dr. Heller has over 20 years of professional experience in private and public sector employment – all accompanied by extensive lecturing and numerous publications in employment law (see menu item «Publications»).
Dr. Heller advises and represents primarily larger employer clients, based on relationships that last for years – both in private and public sector employment. This includes representation in employment-law-disputes as well as, for example, the following typical topics:
- Drafting of sophisticated contract clauses, for example regarding discretionary bonuses or post-contractual non-competition clauses
- Drafting of tailor-made flextime policies
- HR-staff training regarding the correct step-by-step-handling of workplace disputes (bandwith from correct file notes to legally compliant internal investigations)
In the case of employees, Dr. Heller limits himself to mandates that concern significant variable salary components (keyword «bonus») or that relate to overtime and extra hours. Apart from this area, employees are often already very well served with a thorough one-time consultation, i.e., without further representation (see menu item «One-Time Consultations»).
The protected title «Specialist Lawyer SBA Employment Law» is a lawyer ranking you can rely on. The title is «a seal of quality for specific legal advice – comparable, for example, to the ‘FMH specialist’ in medicine» (Swiss Bar Association). Only those who have undergone a rigorous selection process (proof of experience) are admitted to specialist lawyer training. This is followed by university training and a final oral and written exams. Of the approximately 13’000 lawyers practicing in Switzerland, only about one in a hundred qualifies as a certified specialist lawyer SBA in employment law. Don’t settle for less. The title guarantees verifiable specialization with an annual continuing education requirement.
There are also differences among specialist lawyers. Call and listen to your gut feel. Dr. Heller will take the time for you or return your call as soon as he learns about it.
We accept mandates throughout the German-speaking part of Switzerland, but also handle employer mandates with headquarters in German-speaking Switzerland and branches in Ticino. The mandate agreements are concluded with Heller Rechtsanwalts AG and personally executed by Dr. Heller.
